01

The challenge

Responding to forest fires involves allocating bases, teams, trucks and aircraft. The project explored how to support these recommendations while considering distance, risk and resource availability.

02

My contribution

Working in a team, I developed a web/mobile application and a graph-based algorithm to recommend resource allocation. The project combined software development with modeling an operational problem.

03

Decisions & implementation

01

Model with graphs

Use a graph-based algorithm to recommend allocation while considering the problem’s constraints.

02

Connect the application and logic

An application using Java and Spring Boot, TypeScript and Next.js, supported by Supabase.

03

Build together

An academic team project, with Docker among the technologies used.

04

The delivery

The team developed the solution as an academic project at Inteli between February and April 2026. The delivery connected a web/mobile application to resource allocation recommendations, applying graphs to a forestry operations problem.

Technologies used
